Housed in what appears to be its original gilded frame. Provenance; From the estate of Agnes Fuller Tack, Tack s widow and the daughter of George Fuller. Tack was a student of Twachtman and Weir, schooled in Impressionism. Later in life he was a pioneer of abstract art, and color field painting. He painted murals for the Phillips Collection in Washington D.C., where he was a close associate of Duncan Phillips.
